well I like indie and signed bands (some of them, if its true, has over-control on what they make.. e.g. urbandub, slapshock, etc...).

btw urbandub was given a distributing rights by sony for 2 of their albums before they signed up with sony and 1 thing I was afraid of was that it might affect their music but I'm glad that it didn't and hoping that it will stay that way...

We have a messed up music industry. You need to have good connections to get a record deal.

That's why I prefer indie bands so much. No producer-selected content, just pure music and the musicians get to be themselves.

Yah, I heard of that linuxipod thing, and i also talk to a person who uses one and he said he can play videos on a photo ipod, I don't know if this is possible. And 1 game he plays is doom.
