wait till you see the patent cases that will be filed. apparently you can claim separate patents for the number of simultaneous gestures you can make on the screen.
the apple patent is owned by these geeks ( Hotelling; Steve; (San Jose, CA) ; Huppi; Brian Q.; (San Francisco, CA) ; Strickon; Joshua A.; (San Jose, CA) ; Kerr; Duncan Robert; (San Francisco, CA) ; Ording; Bas; (San Francisco, CA) ; Chaudhri; Imran; (San Francisco, CA) ; Christie; Greg; (San Jose, CA) ; Ive; Jonathan P.; (San Francisco, CA))

....while the other one is owned by a university......

i will patent one where one can french kiss the screen while on the other end are electrodes connected to......

Yeah, Steve had to explicitly mention that they have over 200 patents. I hate IP laws. I understand why they were made but it gets abused by reducing your rights and selling them to you.

actually, apple bought the company fingerworks who made their touch screen.....fingerworks did a couple of great products but since they're now part of apple they won't be selling their technology.....
