For the unaware (or don’t care), Microsoft’s Windows Vista and Office 2007 Launch is on February 3, 2007 at SM Mall of Asia. There’ll be fireworks [again]. More details at the website.

I’m still not sure if I’m going. There’s a 30% chance that I’ll be there. Eat the fence. You know naman.

  • tell me about it. i got my acer laptop the month before core duo came out. i got my macbook just before it came with core 2 duo and 3gb ram. ugh.....at least i'm not much worse than my professor who finished his engineering degree with vacuum tubes only to graduate and find out that the world has moved to solid state transistors...

hmmmm, maybe adsense will give me added income to keep up with the joneses......
  • Yeah, the amount of readers you get from your porn journal could get you a new notebook every month! I've earned $3.75 from AdSense in 2 years. It's amazing! I feel like I can swin in a room filled with gold chocolate-filled coins!

    Technology sucks.
  • may freebies kaya like in us?

    like this: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/software/vista-launc...
  • Most likely. Everytime I go to something related to Microsoft, I get to take home something. I still use the laptop bag that I won off of a raffle.
  • ito shwagg... freebies.. hehe.. I like events in us especially if your part of the media. Daming freebies..

Yung sundance nga i think the actors or vips got free Blackberry Perl phone, a macbook (i think, Tom Arnold was holding one when he made a segment for tonight show with jay leno), and many more nag lalaway ako haha..
  • You can only hope. Haha!

All I ever get from Microsoft are CDs, notepads, small notebooks (nice paper though), 3 bags, a shirt, pens, keychains, one shirt, and even a friggin pin! All the usual stuff. An Acer Ferrari laptop would be great though. Have you seen Alex Alrecht's laptop/tablet? It looks pretty interesting but i'm already contented with a bag and shirt.
  • or An Asus Lamborghini will also be good.. Yah I guess dream lang hehe.

Anyways they are free and for publicity sake.

maeron palang Microsoft Keynote during CES period hehe.. I thought Apple lang.
  • I think Bill isn't that much of a good speaker. Masgusto ko si Stanley Tan, ng MS Philippines. Haha!
  • Inside information tells me there will be freebies. I'm not sure what kind and how much. I asked for a reservation for each item to be given away but my powers were'nt enough.
